Review of the Sugar Queen by, Sarah Addison Allen

The Sugar Queen starts out with the story of 27 year-old Josey Cirrini who still lives with her overbearing mother, she escapes to her closet filled with romance novels and sugary snacks.Till the night she finds a local waitress, Della Lee Baker, hiding in her closet.Dellas decides to change Josey's life.Josey then meets Chloe Finley who has problems of her own, books appear out of nowhere and follow Chloe around. This was the fun part of this book because the books are usually self-help or repair if something is broken. And if she doesn't read them they keep appearing wherever she is.This story is one of friendship, love, loss and stepping out of the box.I found it a very interesting story with a big twist ending so I won't go into any more detail of it,as I don't want to ruin it for anyone.I thoroughly enjoyed this book Sarah's writing flows nicely and this story kept me reading. Her books have a supernatural side but you don't have to enjoy fantasy to enjoy her wonderful books.4 1/2 stars
